Rose + Water is a practice rooted in the wisdom of nature. Founded in 2019 by Kaia Wang, it began with a deep curiosity and respect for the plant world, and a resolve to go without anything synthetic, artificial, or needlessly obscure. Raised in her family’s traditional Chinese medicine apothecary, she mapped her way through the sensory world of plants, endlessly studying their textures, scents, and forms. With nature as our source of solace and inspiration, all of our offerings come directly from the earth — made to be kept close and reached for whenever you need a little tending to. Each piece is made slowly, by hand, in small batches in our San Francisco studio, using simple, natural, active ingredients, as reflected in our name.
